Context menu when selecting a sub string can produce garbage for items in the menu

The erroneous menu rendering you see above can produce by:
1. Select some substring of the text. Be sure to select to the far right of the text, which will appear as a space in the text.
2. Click the selected text to encourage the context menu to appear (normally the context menu appears without additional steps, but when selecting off the far right you must in addition click on the highlighted text)
